analyse a stanza

1st stanza: And i had done a hellish thing,

And i would work ’em woe,

for all averred,I had killed the bird,

That made the breeze to blow,

Ah wretch!, said they, the bird to slay,

That made the breeze to blow:

what there trying to say is that the mariner has killed the albatross and he was crawl to do that which the albatross brag the wind and the breeze the rhythm is them saying breeze and blow also the writing and spelling tells us its an old poem because it has old language in it.the word hellish is same as saying bad and stupid.

analyse a stanza

The souls did from their bodies fly,–

They fled to bliss or woe!And every soul,

it passed me by, Like the whizz of my CROSS-BOW!

this is mean that the mariner crew had died and he could see there souls flying up in the air like he was imaging

and also it mean that deaths friend has won and she’s there should but the mariner soul did not go up

with them still he just saw them going up by them self although he was in the boat with his crew

this is when deaths friend takes there souls

this when they got hit on the iceberg

homework

Samuel Tayler is the creator of the poem The ancient Mariner this poem I really good and also the rhyme is smooth like ‘And we did speak only to break’ it really relaxing to listen to it, its nice because u could actually imagine it and that ur really there.

the Wedding-Guest stood still,                                     the Wedding-Guest was frozen,

And listens like a three years child                            He was not interested about it,

The mariner hath his will                       He  wanted to do something so he will go  do  it                                                                                         with his will

This is Your Online Domain

Hello and welcome to your personal online journal.

Edutronic has been created to enhance and enrich your learning at the London Nautical School. Its purpose is to provide you with an audience for your work (or work-in-progress) and you have the choice (by altering the ‘visibility’ of your posts) of whether your work on here is visible to the world, or only to your teacher.

Anything you post here in the public domain represents you and thus it’s important that you take care with that decision, but don’t be afraid to publish your work – as the feedback you may get from people at home, your peers and people from around the internet is only likely to enhance it.

Remember you can always access your class blog and all manner of resources through the Edutronic main website – and by all means check out the sites of your peers to see what they’re getting up to as well.

If you have any questions for your teacher, an excellent way to get an answer is to create a new private post on this journal. Your teachers are am notified of any new posts and will reply swiftly to any queries.

Make the most of, and enjoy this new freedom in your English learning!
